A leading financial services provider in Johannesburg is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to develop financial reports, ensure the accuracy of the General Ledger, and support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have strong financial reporting skills and at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Location: Sasolburg and Natref Operations, Sasolburg. Closing Date: 26 September 2025. Purpose of Job: Develop and implement a continuous input into financial and business decision-making at tactical/operational level, complete financial accounting reports, and ensure the integrity of the GL and Trial Balance for timely monthly reporting.
Key Accountabilities:
Formal Education: B.Com Hons Accounting / CTA or equivalent with articles and 2+ years of relevant experience; proven technical financial reporting skills.
Working Experience: 2+ years relevant experience.
Required Personal and Professional Skills: Practical financial planning, reporting, and compliance abilities; strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Outcomes:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; CA(SA) or MBA is a plus; 5–7 years of financial experience with at least 5 years in management roles.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting. Experience with ERP systems, especially MSD, is beneficial. Industry experience in beverages or FMCG preferred.
