Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping with full function.
• Registered with SAIPA or SAICA.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Reconciling financial statements and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Coordinating and managing the month-end and year-end close processes; monitoring and analyzing financial data and providing insights to management.
• Ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Managing and mentoring junior bookkeeping staff.
• Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Participating in financial audits and providing necessary documentation and support.
