Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a Financial Accountant in Cape Town. This role encompasses full accounting functions, preparation of financial reports, and ensuring compliance with legislation. Candidates should have relevant qualifications, 2–3 years of post-articles experience, and be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English. Own transport is required for travel to Moorreesburg three times a week.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years post-articles experience in a senior role, preferably from an auditing/financial firm.
• Payroll administration experience advantageous.
• Must have own reliable vehicle; travel required.

Responsibilities

• Full accounting function including debtors, creditors, and bank reconciliations.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
• Ensure adherence to legislative requirements and internal financial policies.
