Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full statutory and SARS compliance across entities
• Prepare review and manage detailed audit packs and reconciliations
• Oversee Junior Accountants and Debtors Clerks ensuring accuracy and deadlines
• Maintain and optimise accounting processes within Evolution and custom ERP systems
• Support financial reporting and month-end close activities
• Design and improve Excel-based reports and tools (including macros) for financial analysis
• Act as a key liaison between finance Auditors and operational teams

Job Experience and Skills Required

• BCom Accounting with completed SAIPA / SAICA articles (essential)
• 23 years post-articles experience in a commercial environment
• Strong knowledge of SARS compliance and statutory reporting
• Proven experience preparing audit packs and managing small teams
• Proficient in Evolution ERP and advanced Excel (macros, formulas and pivot tables)
