Job description

Oversee and manage accounting operations within the company. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance. Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Manage systems and provide support and solutions on reporting. Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting – maintain and oversee bookkeeping, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Cost and Inventory Management – develop and implement inventory controls, conduct cost analysis, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and provide financial insights.
• Cash Management – manage cash flow, develop cash forecasts, ensure efficient use of resources, and maintain liquidity.
• Compliance and Internal Controls – ensure compliance with VAT, tax, and regulatory requirements, enhance internal controls, and submit regulatory reports.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration – supervise and mentor accounting staff, collaborate with other departments, and assist the Financial Director with special projects.

Job Requirements

• Education – Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CGMA, ACCA, CIMA is an advantage.
• Experience – Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, at least 3 years in a senior accounting role, manufacturing experience desirable.
• Technical Skills – Proficient in accounting software (Pastel Evolution advantage), Advanced Excel, financial modelling, cost accounting, and inventory management.
• Soft Skills – Analytical and problem‑solving abilities, strong leadership and team management skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, high integrity and attention to detail.
• Personal Attributes – Self‑motivated and proactive, flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, independent thinker capable of working with minimal supervision.
