Job summary

A leading international professional services firm in Gauteng is seeking an experienced accountant to handle the complete accounting function, including compiling annual financial statements and performing independent reviews. The ideal candidate has over 4 years of experience in an accounting/auditing environment, must possess a relevant degree, and show proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and Pastel. Strong communication and time management skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in an accounting/auditing environment.
• Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles preferred.
• Professional membership preferred.
• Driver's licence (preferred not essential).
• Own vehicle (preferred not essential).

Responsibilities

• Ensure complete accounting function up until trial balance level.
• Compile annual financial statements.
• Perform independent reviews for a variety of client portfolios.

Minimum Requirements

• Recognised 3‑year degree as per the SAIPA / SAICA requirements
• 4+ years of experience in an accounting / auditing environment, completed SAIPA / SAICA articles is preferred
