What's the role all about?

You'll be the backbone of day-to-day financial operations - ensuring accuracy, compliance, and control across the board. From monthly payroll to preparing annual financial statements, your work will directly support strategic decisions and business growth.

What you'll be doing :

  • Prepare financial reports, monthly consolidations, and annual financial statements
  • Complete regulatory returns and liaise with SARS
  • Maintain general ledger and inter-company accounts
  • Control the asset register and enforce internal financial controls
  • Oversee monthly payroll and supplier payments
  • Manage bank, debtors, and creditors reconciliations
  • Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and audit preparation

What we're looking for :

  • BComm in Accounting (Honours preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a similar accounting role
  • Experience in consolidated reporting
  • Proficiency in Caseware essential, Xero advantageous
  • Strong understanding of VAT, tax, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication, self-management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize under pressure and drive solutions independently
