Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to :
- Review and approve journals before posting in the financial system to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Oversee account reconciliations and prepare trial balance reports to support balance sheet reviews with finance leadership
- Ensure completion and review of financial controls
- Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reviewing monthly results with the finance team
- Oversee standard month‑end reporting, including client and profitability reports
- Review and approve accruals, ensuring alignment with the finance team
- Collaborate with finance leadership to review and validate revenue calculations
- Monitor intercompany accounts, ensuring all balances are accurate and reconciled
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts
- Upload budgets and forecasts into finance systems
- Work closely with colleagues across the finance centre to maintain operational efficiency and support overall success
- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen processes and controls
- Provide timely, high-quality information to support internal and external audits
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 plus years experience in IFRS controls
- The client would like the person to have shared service experience as this will be an asset to the company
