Our client in Kimberley seeks a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their finance team in a hybrid role, managing key accounting functions and ensuring accurate financial records for month-end and year-end closes. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 4+ years of experience, strong IFRS knowledge, and proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
• Solid understanding of IFRS, financial reporting principles, and South African tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
