Join a Forward-Thinking Primary School as SENDCo

Salary: £40,317 - £62,496 per year (MPS/UPS with Inner London weighting). Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term. Start Date: 01 January 2026.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SENDCo to lead the school's inclusive provision. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and making a real difference in children's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the provision for pupils with SEND, including those with EHCPs and SEN support plans
  • Coordinate assessments, reviews, and personalised learning plans
  • Guide and support staff in delivering high-quality inclusive teaching
  • Strengthen the school's Inclusion strategy and ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice
  • Build strong partnerships with families and external professionals
  • Ensure pupil voice is central to decision-making and support planning
What We're Looking For
  • NASENCO qualification (or currently working towards it)
  • Enhanced DBS check, ideally registered on the Update Service
  • Proven experience supporting a diverse SEND profile
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • A commitment to inclusive education and child-centred practice
