We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as a strategic Segment Buyer Electronics. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Purchasing Segment Buyer specializing in electronic components with additional experience on EMS management, to join our procurement team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the cost‑effective and timely procurement of electronic components critical to our operations, while delivering on savings and value‑added strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement, preferably in the electronics or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components (e.g., semiconductors, PCBs, connectors, microcontrollers, crystal, semi‑active and passive components).
• Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to engage strategically with electronic components.
• Experience supporting sites / regions yearly action plans deployments and global strategy background experience on electronic components and cross‑functional teams.
• Successful experience deploying distribution agreements with key e‑component distributors.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin) are a plus.
