Enel Green Power is seeking a Security Manager to join its Operations and Maintenance & Assets Management team, based in Johannesburg, to support Enel Green Power's Security activities.

What you will do

Develop, implementation and monitoring of Security and Crisis management in all Sub-Saharan Countries.

Risk and Threat identification, develop plans, strategies and protocols to secure plant sites and all Sub-Saharan EGP buildings.

Establish a monitoring plan to follow up security status at all sites.

Support Operation & Maintenance Organization to manage Security & Crisis activities across Sub-Saharan countries in all sites.

Analyze company assets, define security systems in place, manage to improve the infrastructure to ensure high level security at all sites.

Follow up countries status and potential crisis that may affect company assets and business on every site.

Conduct crisis management.

Coordinate company efforts to manage security and crisis related subjects.

Coordinate security service providers and event investigation at all sites.

Ensure skill improvement of all service providers by providing adequate training.

Coordinate company relations with country institutions on security and crisis management to manage the crisis process for the whole Power Generation perimeter.

Ensure the application of security processes and activities within Countries where Enel Green Power has a presence and manage the crisis management process for the whole Enel Green Power perimeter.

Coordinate with police stations for plant security needs, status, event investigation and build a good relationship with these organizations.

Obtain first-hand information from Government institutions and coordinate necessary actions in Security and Risk management.

Coordinate with embassies and diplomatic bodies in Sub-Saharan countries and provide support to our EGP colleagues working in those countries.

Analyze the plant environment, communities and define action plans for security improvement at plant level.

Ensure the application of security processes and activities within countries of sole Renewable Generation presence.

Who you are

Exposure to the security industry.

Exposure to different physical security systems, security surveillance services, monitoring, and security management.

Budgeting and financial reporting experience.

Exposure to the drafting and interpretation of Contracts, preferably service level agreements as an advantage.

Experience in Project Management would be highly advantageous.

Compiling management reports.

Knowledge of Advanced MS Office , SAP, MS Projects will be a plus.

Project Management.

Knowledge and understanding of SLA.

Excellent Communication Skills and Relationship Management Skills.

Good negotiation and selling skills.

Customer Service Skills.

Problem solving and Analytical Skills.

Financial and business understanding.

What we search for in you

National Diploma / B Degree in Security Management / Policing NQF Level 7 with credits.

PSIRA Grade A.

3-4 years' experience in the field of security.

Knowledge of security Acts and Regulations.

Valid driver's licence Code B or C.
