Job summary

Together Staffing group is assisting a top mining client in Limpopo to appoint a Section Manager (Underground) for a complex underground hard rock operation. The role requires strong leadership of mine crews, and deep knowledge of underground methods and layouts.

Required: Matric, National Diploma or BTech/BEng in Mining Engineering, Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency, and a Blasting Certificate for Underground Hard Rock Mines or Rock Breaking Certificate; plus 8–10 years of underground

Qualifications

• Matric, Diploma or higher in Mining Engineering-related field.
• Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency and Blasting Certificate required.
• 8–10 years’ experience in underground hard rock mining; knowledge of conventional and trackless methods.

To be considered for this role, you will meet the following minimum requirements:

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)
• National Diploma or BTech/BEng in Mining Engineering.
• Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency
• Blasting Certificate for Underground Hard Rock Mines or Rock Breaking Certificate.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in underground hard rock mining, with exposure to both conventional and trackless mining.
• In-depth knowledge of underground mining methods and layouts.
