Placements24 is seeking a qualified Secondary School Science Teacher to lead Physics, Physical Science, and Chemistry for Grades 8–12 at a respected Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal school. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or related Bachelor's with PGCE in Science.
• At least 3 years teaching experience at secondary level.
• Qualified to teach Physical Science and Chemistry up to matric.
• Strong knowledge of CAPS for Science.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Registration with SACE.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established and respected secondary school located in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal , is seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary School Science Teacher to lead their Physical Science and Chemistry departments. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a relevant Bachelor's degree with Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specializing in Science.
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.
• Qualified to teach Physical Science and Chemistry up to matric level.
• Thorough knowledge of the South African National Curriculum (CAPS) for Science.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and laboratory equipment.
• A passion for science and a commitment to student development.
• Registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
