Job summary

A high-end restaurant based in Pretoria is seeking an experienced Chef d’ Partie. The successful candidate should have a passion for sustainable, fresh, and seasonal menus, with a strong focus on quality and hygiene. Responsibilities include maintaining stock control, ensuring cleanliness, and collaborating with other kitchen staff to create exceptional dishes. Applicants need at least 2-3 years of relevant experience and must have a Chef Certification. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years previous experience as a Chef d’ Partie required.
  • Own transport with valid driver’s license.
  • Stable employment background for long-term commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain control of stocks and quality of dishes.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in area of responsibility.
  • Follow the guidance of the Executive or Sous chef.
