Job summary

A maritime service provider is looking for an AB Seaman and Motorman in South Africa. This role entails managing both deck operations and engine room maintenance, ensuring the safe operation of the vessel. Key responsibilities include watchkeeping, cargo handling, and assisting the Chief Engineer. Applicants must hold a valid STCW certification, have proven maritime experience, and be physically fit. Qualifications

• Proven experience as an AB Seaman and/or Motorman on similar vessels.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in challenging maritime conditions.
• All documents need to be in good standing and NOT Expired.

Responsibilities

• Perform deck operations including watchkeeping, cargo handling, and maintenance.
• Assist in engine maintenance and monitor machinery operations.
• Respond to engine room emergencies and maintain accurate records.
