Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of a Manager.
  • Perform general auditing functions according to PwC methodologies, including bank and investment confirmations.
  • Coordinate group deliverables and receivable confirmations.
  • Check and cast financials; obtain ISA 402 supporting documentation.
  • Perform tests of details and tests of controls; stay within budget allocations.
  • Handle general administration; provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues; suggest improvements.
  • Validate data accuracy and relevance; follow risk management procedures.
  • Keep up-to-date with technical developments in the business area.
  • Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing; learn about other PwC cultures.

Role Summary:

To provide superior assurance services within the Service Delivery Centre (SDC) Africa team. The SDC provides audit support to audit teams across Africa on a remote basis.

Qualifications / Certifications required :

A related tertiary qualification - Diploma or Degree: Accounting / Auditing or similar.

Experience required:

Oneyears’ relevant experience in an Auditing environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities of role:
  • Work under the supervision of a Manager.
  • Perform general auditing functions according to PwC methodologies including but not limited to: bank confirmations investment confirmations.
  • Group deliverables.
  • Receivable confirmations.
  • Checking and casting of financials.
  • Obtain/coordinate and summarize ISA 402 supporting documentation.
  • Perform test of details/test of controls.
  • Work within budget allocations.
  • General administration.
  • Invite and provide evidence-based feedback in a timely and constructive manner.
  • Share and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Work with existing processes/systems whilst making constructive suggestions for improvements.
  • Validate data and analysis for accuracy and relevance.
  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures.
  • Keep up-to-date with technical developments for business area.
