Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and peer review application scorecards (including reject inference techniques).
  • Lead feature engineering initiatives to drive model performance and business impact.
  • Align scorecard strategies with commercial objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Apply scoring models across banking and non-banking industries.
  • Develop predictive solutions in low-data environments, especially SME lending.
  • Mentor and upskill junior analysts / data scientists.
  • Present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
  • Contribute to PD and behavioural model development across the team.
Job Experience and Skills Required
  • Education: Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering
  • Experience: 8+ years hands-on experience in application scoring & credit risk modelling
  • Skills: SAS expertise is essential; Paragon modeler experience advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in scorecard development, reject inference & validation.
