As a Finance Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting operational efficiency, highlighting areas of cost improvement initiatives, and enabling client delivery through robust financial reporting, insight generation, and improved process design.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for tasks, processes or entities in the area of Financial Reporting which includes solving problems and responding to ad hoc queries for assigned areas.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external client-facing teams to provide financial insight for operational restructuring and transformation programmes.
- Develop and assist in the setup and maintenance of dashboards and reporting mechanisms.
- Identify and establish key lines of enquiry for drivers of the position independently.
- Lead and manage finance managers and junior finance officers.
- Develop change initiatives with financial insights, helping to shape cost optimisation and workforce planning programmes.
- Work collaboratively to drive ideas/solutions with peers and managers which will improve Client and PwC's efficiency.
- Develop close relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage your own workload, including reporting on progress and issues.
- Develop the ability to be agile and support a range of client/projects.
- Implement and adapt to new or changing processes quickly.
- Build relationships with all team members within PwC including engagement with client teams as well as customers of our clients.
Experience required
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience leading and managing Finance Managers and Junior Finance Officers.
- Strong data analytics capability – ability to interpret large volumes of financial data to generate meaningful insights.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and Alteryx for dashboarding, automation, and reporting.
- Understanding of cost transformation levers such as procurement optimisation and workforce efficiency.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a high‑paced and ambiguous environment.
- Knowledge or an interest in the Health Industry.
