Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Quality Assurance experience, with at least 3 years in SAP Finance.
• Proven experience in S / 4HANA testing.
• Strong understanding of Finance business processes.

Introduction

My client based in Cape Town is currently looking for a SAP Software Test Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
• 5–8 years of Quality Assurance experience, with at least 3 years focused on SAP Finance (FI / CO) modules
• Proven experience in S / 4HANA testing either in implementation or migration projects
• Strong understanding of Finance business processes and integration points with other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.)
• Skilled in using test management and defect tracking tools such as Solution Manager, Jira, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with test automation tools (Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, or UFT) is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-paced, global environments

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA and testing process for SAP S / 4HANA Finance implementations and upgrades
• Develop and manage test plans, scripts, and reports for Integration, Functional, Regression, and Cutover testing
• Work closely with Finance Business Analysts and Functional Consultants to ensure complete test coverage
• Manage test data, defects, and traceability using tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Jira, or Azure DevOps
• Ensure all testing standards and documentation requirements are met
• Support test automation initiatives and oversee QA environments
• Provide test sign-offs, reports, and risk assessments prior to go-live
