A technology consulting company located in Gauteng is seeking an experienced SAP Security Analyst to manage user access and ensure compliance with security standards. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SAP Security Analyst to manage and support SAP security.
The successful candidate will be responsible for user access management, role design, compliance monitoring, and ensuring adherence to internal and external audit requirements.
This role requires a strong understanding of SAP authorization concepts and GRC tools.
Maintain SAP application security solutions for clients, configuring and customizing SAP security settings and implementing role-based access control (RBAC) and segregation of duties (SoD) in SAP systems.
Design and implement SAP security policies and procedures; conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g. SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
Collaborate with clients to understand security requirements and translate them into functional SAP security solutions.
Provide training and support to clients on SAP security best practices and tools.
Stay up-to-date with new features and releases of SAP security modules; develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.
Stay current with the latest SAP HANA security features, trends, and best practices.
10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP security, including implementation.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
SAP Security or GRC certification.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori security.
Knowledge of Identity Management (IdM) or integration with Active Directory.
Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
Certified copies of SAP or other certificates.
Candidates will not be considered if certified copies are not supplied.
Traceable experience in Unicode conversion; possession of a Back-End Developer – ABAP Cloud certification is a plus.
Experience in Unicode conversion projects.
