Overview

This learnership program aims to equip qualified candidates with hands‑on exposure to SAP systems, helping them become well‑rounded IT professionals.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• NQF Level 6 or 7 qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science (essential).
• NQF Level 7 qualification in Accounting will be advantageous (for accounting‑related learner position only).
• Basic understanding of IT systems and processes.
• Strong interest in Group IT Systems such as SAP (Business Management System), MRM (Mineral Resource Management), or PPMS (Production Performance Management System).
• Excellent communication skills and must be a team player.
• Requires enthusiasm about learning with a proactive attitude.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a passion for technology.
• Valid driver's license required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• This is a fixed‑term learnership position for a duration of 2 years.
• Learners will collaborate with IT professionals across departments, gaining exposure to various technologies and operational processes.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Implats business processes and applications.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to address technical challenges and develop solutions.
• Participate in troubleshooting and provide timely technical support.
• Assist with data analysis and reporting to enhance IT system performance.
• Attend learning sessions and workshops to expand technical skills.
