Our client in Pretoria is recruiting for an SAP MM Functional Consultant (Expert) to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Understand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documents, and obtain sign-off from users for the Business Blueprint document.

ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development / enhancements).

Set up the organization structure of Materials Management and perform all relevant configuration, including Purchase Organisation, Valuation Area Plants, Storage Location, and Warehouse structure.

Prepare testing documents and perform internal testing.

Prepare Master Data templates for various objects like Material Master, Vendor Master, Excise Master, Info-records, Source List, and Purchase Orders.

Conduct integration testing with other modules.

Understand interfaces, IDOC, and RFC's processing.

Prepare the cut-over strategy for MM objects.

Prepare user manuals and conduct training for business process owners.

Manage go-live preparation and provide post go-live support.

Interact with clients through meetings, calls, and emails.

Handle tickets and tasks with responsibility for closing them within defined SLA's (Service Level Agreements).

Troubleshoot system issues and provide support.

Execute required changes through configuration.

Analyze and resolve Production Support calls.

Raise Change Requests (CR's) and write Functional Specifications for them.

Prepare test data for testing of CR's (Change Requests).

Test CR's (Change Requests) and prepare test results.

Carry out regression testing.

Interact with consultants of other modules.

Provide user interface transactional solutions.

Conduct SAP Module process configuration.

Update and maintain all SAP Module functional documentation.

Analyze and scope End-user authorization roles.

Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests, and System Integration security tests.

Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.

Support the functional team with issues and provide a solutions-based approach.

Analyze and solve SAP Module issues.

Qualifications / Experience

IT Degree and / or relevant qualifications / 7 years of SAP MM / ABAP experience.

SAP MM Module Configuration.

SAP ABAP Development on ECC and S / 4HANA.

Data services, BAPIs, SAP Ariba network, and SAP Ariba Guided Buying.

Advantageous Skills Requirements

Formal qualification in IT (Diploma / Degree) or relevant SAP Certification.

Delivery Management, SAP UI5, Project Solution Planning, Estimation, and Costing.

SAP MM-Purchasing, SAP Business Workflow, Eclipse IDE, and SAP Web IDE.
