Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment is seeking an SAP Functional Consultant (Expert) in Pretoria to design and support SAP solutions across international markets. You will bridge business requirements with technical SAP configurations, focusing on SD, FICO and MM modules and ensuring smooth go-lives.

The role involves documenting AS-IS/TO-BE processes, testing, data preparation and post-go-live support in a dynamic global IT team.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP SD, SAP FICO and SAP MM.
• Experience with SAP module configuration and functional documentation.
• Knowledge of SAP ABAP debugging and workbench concepts.
• Awareness of SAP S/4HANA and certification.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Prepare AS-IS and TO-BE documentation, business blueprints and functional specs.
• Configure SAP modules, particularly SAP SD, FICO and MM, to meet business needs.
• Work with sales orders, deliveries, billing, pricing procedures and special sales processes.
• Support master data preparation, including material and vendor master records and source lists.
• Investigate system issues, debug where necessary and implement configuration changes.
• Understand and support SAP interfaces, IDocs, RFCs and integration with other modules.
• Prepare test documentation and conduct unit, integration and system testing.
• Coordinate go-live preparations and provide post-go-live support.
• Manage production support tickets and resolve issues within SLAs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams through meetings, calls and emails.
• Maintain functional and development documentation and provide expert guidance.

What will yoube doing?

Requirements

What you’llneed in your toolkit

• Strong hands-on experience with SAPSD, SAP FICO and SAP MM.
• Experience with SAP moduleconfiguration and functional documentation.
• Solid knowledge of sales anddistribution processes, including pricing, billing, deliveries andspecialised sales orders.
• Understanding of master data, numberranges and SAP integration processes.
• SAP ABAP knowledge, particularlydebugging and workbench-related concepts.
• Experience with testing, productionsupport and issue resolution.
• Ability to analyse businessrequirements and deliver solutions that meet business and systemstandards.
• SAP S/4HANA certification.

Bonus pointsif you have

• Previous experience working on SAPS/4HANA projects.
• Experience working in an Agileenvironment.
• Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience with HP ALM or JIRA X-Rayfor testing.
• Knowledge of Vehicle ManagementSystem (VMS) processes.
