Job summary

A leading IT consulting firm in Gauteng is seeking a mid-senior level SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Lead. You will oversee the design and implementation of financial planning solutions while leading a team. The ideal candidate has more than 5 years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of SAP BPC. This full-time position offers the opportunity to shape financial processes for clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Consolidation and Reporting Process knowledge.
  • Strong experience with SAP BPC including Script Logic and DM packages.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage client relationships effectively.

Overview

SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Lead - Blue Pearl HQ. Join to apply for the SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Lead role. You will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) solutions for financial planning, budgeting, and consolidation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical design, implementation, and support of SAP BPC solutions for financial planning, budgeting, and consolidation.
  • Manage a team of consultants, acting as a subject matter expert and mentor.
  • Guide clients through project lifecycles, ensuring solutions align with business goals.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Consolidation and Reporting Process knowledge.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Planning and/or Financial Consolidations technical solution experience.
  • Strong experience with SAP BPC (both NetWeaver and Microsoft versions), including Script Logic, DM packages, and EPM reporting.
  • Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, mentor staff, and manage client and stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Multiple years of experience in SAP BPC implementations, with experience in areas like data modeling, integration, and security.
  • Experience with associated technologies such as SQL, MDX, VB coding, and ABAP.
  • Certification: Educated to a degree level (or equivalent) or relevant experience.
  • BPC 10 or 10.1 certification.
  • BW certification will be an advantage.
