Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable SAP Basis Administrator to manage and support our SAP system landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for system installations, configurations, performance tuning, and ongoing maintenance of SAP environments.

This role requires hands‑on experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA, and system administration across various platforms. The role is focused on a technical Unicode conversion of the SAP ECC6 system for a period of 9 months.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the technical architecture of SAP systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT strategies.
• Works closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation of SAP Basis components.
• Perform SAP system installations, configurations, performance tuning, and ongoing maintenance of SAP environments.

Technical Skills

• SAP System Administration: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems.
• Database Management: Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or HANA.
• Operating Systems: Proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
• SAP Tools: Experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager, and transport management systems.
• System Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Using tools to ensure optimal system performance.
• Backup & Recovery: Implementing disaster recovery plans and performing system backups.
• Security & Authorizations: Managing user roles, profiles, and system security.

Qualifications

• SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (Oracle).
• Other relevant SAP certifications related to migrations and upgrades.
• Certified copies of SAP or other certificates (candidates will not be considered without certified copies).
• Traceable experience in Unicode conversion.
• Back-End Developer – ABAP Cloud certification.
• Experience in previous Unicode conversion projects.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to handle pressure, difficult conversations, and navigate client resistance to achieve goals.
