Placements24 is seeking a Sanitation Team Member for our busy logistics hub in Port Elizabeth. You will keep warehouses, loading docks, offices and restrooms clean, safe, and hygienic to support efficient operations.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with training provided and PPE supplied. Overtime opportunities may be available during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or sanitation preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend and lift for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and follow cleaning protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties in designated areas of the logistics hub, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces regularly.
• Manage waste disposal, ensuring bins are emptied and surrounding areas are tidy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning equipment and supply closets.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks during scheduled maintenance periods.
• Follow all company policies regarding health, safety, and environmental procedures.
