- In this role, you will oversee both sales initiatives and technical support functions, ensuring top-tier customer service, expert product knowledge, and strong commercial performance. You will be responsible for managing key customer accounts, leading a support team, and acting as the technical liaison between clients and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the sales and technical support team to achieve performance targets.
- Provide expert-level technical support to clients, resolving product and process-related issues.
- Maintain and grow strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and execution of strategic sales plans.
- Liaise with production, R&D, and quality teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Deliver customer training and product demonstrations where required.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales and / or technical support role within the manufacturing or packaging industry.
- Proven experience in managing customer accounts and leading teams.
- Strong understanding of packaging machinery, materials, and production processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites when necessary.
- Valid driver’s license.
