Department: Sales (Non-GLA Exhibitions and Kiosks) | Location: Promenade | Reports to: Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Specialist is responsible for selling and managing exhibition and kiosk space within the shopping centre portfolio. Working with local and national brands, agencies, and partners, the role focuses on creating impactful in‑mall activations and brand experiences that drive revenue, align with the mall’s strategic objectives, and enhance shopper engagement.

This position requires a self‑starter who thrives in a target‑driven environment, has strong relationship‑building skills, and can translate brand needs into effective in‑mall marketing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Conduct sales meetings with prospective clients and agencies to understand exhibition and promotional needs.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement proactive sales strategies to drive new business and maximize occupancy of exhibition space.
  • Space Management: Identify, plan, and allocate promotional/exhibition space in line with operational requirements and brand relevance.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare tailored proposals and presentations showcasing available space and opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long‑term relationships with brands, agencies, and partners to drive repeat business.
  • Revenue Growth: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the commercial success of the shopping centre.
  • Activation Oversight: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of exhibitions and activations.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of activations and provide post‑campaign reports and insights.
  • Compliance: Ensure exhibitions meet mall compliance standards, brand guidelines, and health & safety regulations.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up‑to‑date with retail trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities.
  • Budget Management: Adhere to financial processes, including invoicing, rental collections, and reconciliation with finance teams.
