We are seeking a Sales & Service Technician Apprentice for a permanent role based in George Western Cape.

Duties & Responsibilities

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria :

  • Grade 12 with a diploma in business admin; qualified verification officer preferred
  • 3 years work experience in FMCG with knowledge in retail scales and weights / measures
  • Computer literacy : MS Office as well as POS software
  • Driver's license and own vehicle
  • Must have good communication skills be confident and friendly
  • Clear criminal record and contactable references
  • Willing to work overtime when required

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to :

  • Update the relevant policies and procedures.
  • Sales of product offering including scales automatic wrapping machines printers software spares and consumables
  • Marketing the company's products and services including cold calling visiting new customers and give demonstrations
  • Maintain existing customer relations
  • Provide services to our customers including installations verifications servicing repairs deliveries and customer training on all the company's products
  • Assist with helpdesk support stock counts and office administration
  • Assist with debt collection including cash collections and cash deposits
  • Will be required to work standby weekends on a rotation basis
