Our vision for the Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, chemo ports, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance. Strong command of SFDC CRM is a core requirement at BD.

We expect every sales associate to use SFDC daily and offer world‑class support and training to help you succeed.

About the role: As a Sales representative, you will be responsible for achieving business plans by implementing and changing strategies per customer as needed, to maintain and grow the current business by establishing excellent relationships and supporting customers. Main responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and develop new business.
  • Be available for theatre support, if needed, also after hours.
  • Establish relationships with clients including hospital personnel, theatre staff, pharmacy manager, stock controllers, etc.
  • Assist when and where required at organized exhibitions and meetings to promote BD products through demonstrating the clinical features and benefits of product ranges.
  • Conduct in‑service training and product demonstrations to promote the accurate use of BD products in territory.
  • Provide competitive information such as tenders, pricing data, or bundling arrangements in order to establish pricing structures for assigned products.
  • Improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Manage consignment stock to minimize risk.
  • Contribute to the positive integrity of the team at all times.

About you: Strong commercial acumen combined with dedication and focus to deliver against targets; outstanding team and development skills; highly developed interpersonal skills and a phenomenal relationship builder. Understanding the clinical background and key concepts of Peripheral Vascular would be an advantage.
