Position Overview:
The company seeks to appoint an experienced Sales Representative within the Vascular Access, Critical Care and Airway (VCCC) Division for the Gauteng South territory.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing the Vascular Access, Critical Care and Airway product portfolios, with a strong focus on sales within both Private and Government healthcare sectors.
This position reports to the Regional Manager.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Servicing existing accounts, securing orders, and developing new business opportunities
- Planning and organising daily sales activities to engage existing and potential customers
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives
- Delivering professional and effective sales presentations
- Keeping management informed through accurate and timely reporting, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Capturing all customer interactions and sales leads accurately on the CRM system
- Monitoring competitor activity, including pricing, products, new launches, and delivery schedules
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction at all times
- Investigating and resolving customer complaints and making recommendations to management
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge through training, workshops, and industry engagement
- Maintaining accurate records of customer and area sales performance
- Being available to work after hours and on weekends when required for product training and congress attendance
Requirements
Essential / Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid South African Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- South African citizen
- Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience, preferably within the medical industry
- Proven sales track record with contactable references
Skills and Qualifications:
- Presentable, professional, and customer-focused
- Strong team player
- A recognised qualification or course in Sales and Marketing will be advantageous
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Solid product knowledge with strong presentation skills
