Overview

The company wishes to employ a well-established senior Sales Representative responsible for the launching, marketing, and sales of Advanced Wound Care products in the public and private sectors in South Africa. The successful incumbent will be based in Johannesburg, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.

Territory

Mainly Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Vereeniging. Government and Private sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage with key players in the public and private wound care sector such as Vascular Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, General Surgeons, and Professional Nurse Practitioners.
  • Build solid customer relationships.
  • Attend ward rounds and dressing changes.
  • Ensure all activities and sales leads are captured on CRM.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Become highly proficient and knowledgeable with the product range and the clinical factors associated with these products.
  • Educate the customer regarding the technical and clinical requirements of the products.
  • Constantly build a good knowledge of competitor products and activities.
  • Assist with clinical trials and data analysis.
Requirements
  • BSc in biomedical health sciences or Nursing.
  • Clinical knowledge of wound care.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Worked in a Sales environment for more than 5 years.
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel.
  • Own reliable vehicle.

Compensation
