Sales Representative – Formwork & Scaffolding
Location: Gauteng (based in Johannesburg, willing to travel)

We are seeking an eager and motivated Sales Representative with 3 to 5 years of experience in construction-related sales, particularly in the hire and sale of formwork and scaffolding systems. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual who is passionate about growing client relationships, driving sales, and contributing to the success of a leading construction supplier in Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in the formwork and scaffolding industry.
- Promote and sell formwork and scaffolding systems to construction companies, contractors, and other key players in the industry.
- Conduct product presentations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients regarding formwork and scaffolding solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach, relationship-building, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Regularly travel within Gauteng and surrounding areas to meet clients and expand the customer base.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and product innovations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3 to 5 years of sales experience within the construction industry, specifically related to formwork and scaffolding.
- In-depth knowledge of formwork and scaffolding systems.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical specifications to clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
- Construction Management or Engineering certification is advantageous.
