Establish and strengthen FLANDERS South Africa’s position as a trusted partner to both new and existing customers by actively engaging with them, understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and proactively supporting their reliability and maintenance planning
Responsibilities
- Hunter Position – aggressively seek new opportunities to reach and exceed assigned revenue targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and building relationships with potential customers
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads
- Manage and grow existing client accounts to achieve sales targets
- Achieve set sales quotas, KPIs, and various sales metrics set by executive management
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities
- Up & Cross Sell diverse offerings of industrial & technical products and services across parent company portfolio, including sister company product lines
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and feedback using CRM tools
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Serve as single point of contact for accounts & territory
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer support
- Manage expectations of the customer and FLANDERS to deliver the most successful results possible every time
- Organize and plan customer meetings (in-person and virtual), presentations, workshops, and site visits
- Engage in and contribute to sales meetings and initiatives for planning, strategizing and successfully implementing sales objectives
- Travel within the region for customer meetings, site visits, sales meetings, industry events, joint sales calls, training events
- Communicate competitive market information to help sales support team build competitive bids
