• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including Farmers, Contractors, Construction firms, Architects and Engineers.
• Identify and pursue new building material sales opportunities to prepare quotes and manage deliveries for customers.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
• Provide product knowledge and solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
• Monitor market trends and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Ensure timely reporting and feedback to the head office.

Qualifications:

• At least two years’ experience in a similar position.
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets.
• Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. Retail IQ software), telephone and email systems.
• Building material product knowledge.
• Know how to read a plan and do quantity estimations.
• Ability to learn about products and services and market them to prospects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
• Valid Driver’s License
