Job Title : Retail Hardware Sales Representative (Ironmongery & Security Products) Location : Northern Suburbs, Boland, Helderberg, Overberg and Garden Route

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative with strong industry experience and established customer relationships in the retail hardware market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strong relationships with existing hardware retail clients and identify opportunities for growth.
- Prospect and acquire new customers within the assigned region.
- Promote and sell the company's range of ironmongery, door hardware, and security products to retailers, builders, and contractors.
- Conduct regular sales visits to customers to present new products, handle inquiries, and follow up on orders.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries, accurate pricing, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new sales opportunities and report on these through the CRM platform.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and other performance objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, pricing, and technical specifications.
- Prepare and submit weekly market information, sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in the hardware, ironmongery, or security products industry will be advantageous.
- Strong existing relationships with hardware stores, distributors & construction companies in the area.
- Ability to perform consistently under pressure.
- Knowledge of door hardware, locks, hinges, handles, and related security products.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport is a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software will be an advantage.
