Job Title : Retail Hardware Sales Representative (Ironmongery & Security Products) Location : Northern Suburbs, Boland, Helderberg, Overberg and Garden Route

About the Company : We are a growing supplier of ironmongery, door hardware, and security products to retail hardware stores across South Africa.

Our mission : We are dedicated to providing quality products, excellent service, and long-term value to our customers.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative with strong industry experience and established customer relationships in the retail hardware market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with existing hardware retail clients and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Prospect and acquire new customers within the assigned region.
  • Promote and sell the company's range of ironmongery, door hardware, and security products to retailers, builders, and contractors.
  • Conduct regular sales visits to customers to present new products, handle inquiries, and follow up on orders.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries, accurate pricing, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new sales opportunities and report on these through the CRM platform.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and other performance objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, pricing, and technical specifications.
  • Prepare and submit weekly market information, sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in the hardware, ironmongery, or security products industry will be advantageous.
  • Strong existing relationships with hardware stores, distributors & construction companies in the area.
  • Ability to perform consistently under pressure.
  • Knowledge of door hardware, locks, hinges, handles, and related security products.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport is a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software will be an advantage.

Remuneration & Benefits
