Our client, based in Somerset West, Cape Town and who produces and supplies high quality, branded company stationery, from Till Rolls, Copy Scripts, Invoices and Statements to Warning, Thermal, Dispensary and Pricing Labels and Shelf Talkers require the services of an experienced Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Targets : Meet or exceed quarter sales targets & goals as set yearly by Management. This includes existing client base and finding new business.
  • Customer Liaison : Maintain positive business relationships with customers, handle difficult clients, check client buying history to maintain current business, do cold calling for new business.
  • Customer Problems : Know products in order to resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports / solutions; making recommendations to management.
  • Sales Branches : Monitoring of branch sales and orders. Making sure branches have the means of reaching their monthly goals and bring to "higher management" attention any shortfalls of major problems within the sales field.
  • Sales Calling & Activity Reporting : Keeps management informed by submitting activity, results and reports, such as daily call reports, weekly planning and monthly / quarter sales analyses and client feed backs.
  • Sales Meeting : Attend / dial in to weekly sales meeting, discuss existing business and new clients. Check notes from previous meetings and check progress made on any issues / new sales / ideas etc. Submit planning for the following week.
Additional Requirements
  • Reside : Within a 30min radius from the office located in Somerset West, Cape Town.
  • Age : 40 to 60.
  • Transport : Own reliable vehicle that can carry up to 15 boxes of stock.
  • Language : English & Afrikaans
  • Attire : Neatly dressed, well groomed, clean nails, shoes etc.
  • Experience : Must have sales background, especially cold calling and telephone sales. Problem solver, team worker (especially with female authority).
