Sales Representative – Liquor Store

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team.
This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and driving sales of our top-quality products.
The selected candidate should be knowledgeable about the Liquor Industry & products.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients in the retail space. Understand their needs and recommend products that align with their business goals.
- Sales Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities. Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective product presentations, and negotiation.
- Debtor Management: Take full responsibility for managing your own debtors. Ensure timely payments from clients and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize outstanding balances.
- Product Knowledge: Provide clients with in-depth knowledge about new and existing lines, including tasting notes, beers and ciders.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions. Report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to management.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week.
Qualifications
- Sales Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in the alcohol or beverage industry is a significant advantage.
- Passion for Liquor: A genuine passion for and knowledge of spirits, wines, and beers is essential. You must be able to speak confidently and knowledgeably about products we list and sell.
- Self-Motivated: The ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and drive results without constant supervision.
- Vehicle and Mobility: Must possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle. The role requires daily travel to client locations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical for building rapport and closing deals.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: A competitive basic salary plus a commission structure based on sales performance.
