About the Role
We’re searching for an energetic, people‑oriented, and results‑driven Sales Representative who thrives in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment. In this role, you’ll be the face of Razorback — responsible for promoting our range of aluminium and fibreglass canopies, accessories, and related solutions to a variety of customers, including:
• New and Used Car Dealerships
• Fleet & Logistics Companies
• Construction, Mining, and Electrical Contractors
• Utility, Government, and Municipal Fleet Departments
• Private and Commercial Bakkie Owners
You’ll spend most of your time out in the field — building relationships, visiting dealerships, conducting product demonstrations, and closing sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by visiting potential clients, cold calling, and networking within the automotive and commercial sectors.
- Relationship Building: Maintain long‑term relationships with existing dealerships, fleet operators, and business partners to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Product Demonstrations: Present and demonstrate Razorback’s range of canopies and accessories, showcasing the unique benefits, build quality, and customization options available.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective pipeline management and proactive client engagement.
- Gather feedback on customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Report insights to management to help shape future marketing and production strategies.
- Work closely with the production and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery, accurate orders, and exceptional after‑sales support.
- Represent Razorback with professionalism, enthusiasm, and deep product knowledge.
- Be a brand ambassador who embodies our commitment to quality and service excellence.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of proven sales experience, ideally in the automotive, accessories, or fleet solutions industry.
- A solid understanding of vehicle accessories, dealership operations, and B2B sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively while achieving sales targets.
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport (essential).
- A strong network of contacts within the motor or fleet industry is a major advantage.
- A proactive attitude, passion for sales, and genuine enthusiasm for the automotive industry.
