Sales Assistant PositionReference : JHB

The Sales Assistant position is available within a retail environment based in Stellenbosch.

Successful candidate will be involved with the sales of rifles and optics.

As the Sales Assistant, you will serve as the point of contact between the business and its prospects or clients, with a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance related to products and services.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Present, promote, and sell products / services to existing and prospective customers.
• Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
• Suggest applicable and relevant upsells to help customers walk out the door with everything they need.
• Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections.
• Organize, rotate, and stock shelves during each store visit.
• Deliver presentations and demonstrate products to customers.
• Check that merchandise has price tags or labels.
