Sales & Marketing Security Consultant required in Newcastle.

A well-established and reputable security services provider based in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, seeks a dynamic and target-driven Sales & Marketing Security Consultant to join their growing team and strengthen brand presence across the northern KwaZulu-Natal region.

Specialising in guarding, armed response, CCTV surveillance, access control, alarm systems, training and compliance services, including Guarding, Technical Security Solutions, and a fully accredited Training Centre – offering security courses, firearm training, and Grade certifications for industry professionals,

Salary: Market related R12 000 – R15 000 kpm + Commission on every client registration (Neg on exp. And track record).

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Type: Permanent | Junior–Intermediate Level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Sales & Marketing Security Consultant will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and marketing the company’s full suite of security solutions — including guarding, training, technical installations, and specialised protection services. This position requires an energetic, persuasive communicator who is passionate about people, sales, and service excellence in the security industry.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Generate new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
  • Visit clients regularly to present company services and provide professional quotations.
  • Market all company divisions:
  • Training Centre: Grades training (PSIRA), firearm competency and advanced security courses.
  • Technical Division: Alarm systems, CCTV cameras, electric fencing, gate automation, and maintenance.
  • Guarding Division: Promote guarding contracts for malls, schools, retail shops, offices, residential properties, farms, and estates.
  • Drive new sales for farm watch, VIP protection, investigations, and K9 services.
  • Maintain regular client communication and follow up on leads.
  • Meet and exceed agreed monthly sales targets and KPIs.

Marketing & Brand Visibility:

  • Plan and implement local marketing and promotional initiatives.
  • Manage company social media marketing, branding, and visibility campaigns.
  • Represent the company at community events, business forums, and safety awareness programmes.
  • Work closely with operations and management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Provide after-sales support and manage contract renewals.
  • Handle customer queries, service feedback, and escalation where needed.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Marketing diploma or certification related to sales and business development (advantageous).
  • 2–5 Years’ experience in a sales, marketing or business development role (security industry experience an advantage).
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (advantage).
  • Bilingual: Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written & spoken).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general reporting.
  • Strong client presentation and proposal writing ability.
