Are you a commercially driven leader who knows how to grow brands, build strong customer relationships, and manage a high‑performing sales team?

We’re looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager (FMCG | Food Oils) to drive our regional sales, marketing execution, and team performance within the Greater Cape Metropolitan.

This is a hands‑on leadership role in a small, outcomes‑focused FMCG team—ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, accountability, and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive regional sales strategy to meet volume, distribution, and profitability targets.
  • Build strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, distributors & food‑service clients.
  • Identify market expansion opportunities and new revenue channels.
  • Use data insights to guide commercial decisions and improve team performance.
Marketing & Brand Execution
  • Lead campaigns, promotions, trade marketing, digital content & POS execution.
  • Manage marketing materials and external designers/partners.
  • Guide brand positioning through continuous market research.
  • Develop competitive regional pricing strategies and manage profitability.
  • Oversee stock planning and manage special‑order processes.
  • Collaborate with logistics to optimise routes and drive sales efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a growing sales team (small team of 5).
  • Set KPIs, run weekly meetings, and manage performance.
  • Drive a positive, accountable, high‑performance culture.
Admin & Reporting
  • Manage onboarding of new customers, account documentation & outstanding accounts.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts & budget updates.
  • Ensure compliance with certifications (Halaal, Kosher, ICSS).
What You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce (MBA is a bonus).
  • 10+ years FMCG Sales/Marketing experience (non‑perishables advantageous).
  • Proven leadership experience managing sales teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of the Western Cape retail landscape.
