Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow TBEA's renewable energy business in South Africa.
  • Identify and acquire new clients in the solar, wind, and energy storage sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, developers, utilities, and government stakeholders.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and bidding to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management.
  • Collaborate with technical and project teams to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in sales/business development within the renewable energy, power, or electrical industry.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and closing high‑value deals.
  • Strong network with developers, EPC contractors, utilities, and energy stakeholders in South Africa.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel within South Africa and across Africa if required.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
