Sales Manager Wine Estate

Salary : R550 000 R650 000 per year + Commission

This role offers the opportunity to represent a well-known and beautiful Wine Estate, drive its growth across multiple markets, and build a rewarding career in a highly competitive industry.

Location : Simondium (office-based, with local and international travel required).

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business.

What you will do includes :
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive growth in domestic and export markets.
  • Establish and achieve marketing and sales goals for the short-term and long-term to increase market share and profitability.
  • Manage and support sales representatives and resellers, ensuring performance and target achievement.
  • Oversee advertising, promotional campaigns, social media activity, PR, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, trade partners, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and financial factors to identify opportunities.
  • Oversee development of promotional materials, packaging, and wine labels (including copywriting and creative input).
  • Ensure effective use of the companys customer database to maximize retention and growth.
  • Manage pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
  • Evaluate marketing and sales performance, taking corrective actions where necessary to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with the managing partner on export growth opportunities.
