Job summary

A dynamic consultancy firm in South Africa is seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the B2B market and generate new branding and product positioning. Ideal candidates should have 2-6 years of experience in the travel industry and a strong command of English alongside a local language. The role involves developing new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and supporting existing clients. The position is full-time and suitable for mid-senior professionals.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 6 years of work experience in the travel industry.
  • Good command of English and a local language (read, speak).
  • Knowledge of local travel trade.
  • Experience selling outbound destinations.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, internet).
  • Knowledge of destinations, agents & hotels in these regions.
  • Experience in outbound travel agencies; IATA certification preferred.
