Job Overview

Our client is a national leader in the supply of quality tertiary education in South Africa. We are recruiting an experienced Sales Manager for our campus based in Stellenbosch.

Responsibilities
  • Increase awareness, engagement, and retention by sharing the value proposition of client’s products through regular on‑site visits, including extensive travel as required.
  • Develop positive relationships, experiences, and handle customers’ needs.
  • Manage, lead, and support the daily activities of the full‑time career sales team in the specified area/region.
  • Oversee regional sales budgets and performance of assigned employees and campuses to ensure profitable growth.
  • Manage all sales‑related projects, including new product roll‑outs, training, and support.
  • Assist in process improvement with the Sales Director, forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals, and prepare sales documents related to statistics & reporting.
  • Coach sales personnel on techniques and provide input into marketing initiatives.
  • Book and present school appointments; maintain relationships with key individuals (schools, teachers, principals, parents, prospective students).
  • Coordinate school marketing and expos, manage branding/awareness/sponsorship, and client representation.
  • Control data collection against targets per campus/marketer, monitor quick delivery of information cards post‑presentation.
  • Monitor events, workshops, and trade shows to maximize lead conversion and enrollment.
  • Develop and execute direct marketing and sales plans, new product launches, and awareness campaigns.
  • Manage registration processes and assist with enrollment targets.
  • Maintain records in CRM, monitor expenditures, and report on lead generation effectiveness.
  • Provide sales support and guidance for product positioning, and recommend innovative marketing approaches.
Qualifications
  • Advanced education in Sales, Marketing, or related field (beneficial).
  • Experience in academic advising or post‑secondary education preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, administrative, record‑keeping, and clerical skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience with CRM applications and an understanding of their purpose in sales.
  • Demonstrated sales track record and ability to persuade & influence others.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage sensitive information, and comply with confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills; fluent in English; additional languages a plus.

Work Hours

45 hours per week, Full‑Time (08:00‑16:30). Saturdays may be required for school/campus/national events.
