Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative across South Africa who is hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. You will research accounts, identify decision makers and book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives, helping to create the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

You will own outbound outreach using tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce, craft personalized sequences, and maintain clean records.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
