Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets for metering solutions.
Develop and implement sales strategies that align with industry standards and client needs.
Conduct regular sales meetings, review performance data, and collaborate with other departments to address customer needs.
Manage sales documentation, provide training and development opportunities for staff, and report on sales performance to senior management.
Conduct training sessions for new sales team members and create ongoing training programs.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, provide feedback and coaching, and address any knowledge or skill gaps.
Set and track sales targets and goals for the team; analyze sales data and provide reports to upper management.
Ensure excellent customer service, handle escalated complaints, maintain positive relationships with key clients, and implement strategies to improve the customer experience.
Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with purchasing, implement cost-reduction strategies, conduct regular audits, and maintain accuracy.
Mentor junior team members to foster growth and skill development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align processes and achieve goals.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in water metering with at least 2 years of people leadership in a similar industry.
Experience with utilities and/or municipalities.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
Proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g., SalesForce, CRM systems, SAP).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques.
Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and plans.
Willingness to travel as required.
