  • Shell-1 Sales Manager URGENTLY needed for a high-end mining and earth moving equipment company based in Springs.
  • Duties & Responsibilities
    • Targeting & Grading / qualifying of customers
    • Submission of weekly call reports
    • Build effective business relationships with industry professionals
    • Good network and customer base in Gauteng region
    • Strategic thinker and ability to analyse CONMESA data
    • Proficient in Microsoft packages, excel, word etc
    • Keeping current with competitor products, service offerings and activities
    • Reporting and updating the market intelligence system
    • Reporting of competitor behaviour and offerings
    • Meet Sales targets in own territory
    • Planning quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily on a continuous basis
    • Grow market share by implementing own business initiatives in area
    • Share best practices with colleagues to improve efficiency in the field
    • Meeting sales targets within territory
    • Commercial and business awareness
    • Clear understanding of the yellow metal market in South Africa
    • Proven track record in selling excavators, wheel loaders and dozers into the South African market
    • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a price-sensitive market
